Berliner Meisterköche 2011 - Backstagereport

Since 1997, the Berlin Partner GmbH is awarding the title of "Master Chef” to the most excellent culinary experts in the capital region. Due to the 15th Anniversary of the “Master Chefs” in 2011, Restaurants Berlin accompanied the event on social media with many reports, videos and photos. On the occasion of the gala at the hotel InterContinental Berlin on november the 5th, Restaurants Berlin has produced an online magazine. This “Backstagereport” includes the winners, the menu, pictures of the painting of the master plates by the Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur (Royal Porcelain Factory Berlin), KPM, and impressions of the evening. Rebuilding of the Weinbar Rutz

The star-rated restaurant Rutz exists now for more than 10 years. From January to March 2011 it was closed, in order to establish itself new and more modern for another 10 years. Restaurants Berlin attended the wine bar Rutz over the months. In this creative online magazine we present the process of change from the old kitchen to the first major test with the new kitchen with pictures, drawings and creative stylistic elements. Culinary Cinema

The Culinary Cinema of the International Film Festival called “Berlinale” has shown current films that deal with the issues of food, pleasure and the environment. Within this scope, selected top chefs of Berlin created a menu inspired by the evening’s film. Every evening, Restaurants Berlin was live on location and reported in a comprehensive and classic high quality online documentary about the film, the cooks and backstage from the kitchen.
